Welcome to the Transition Stirling Tool Library!

We're a community resource in Stirling, lending everything from drills to sewing machines, spades to food processors.

Please feel free to browse our inventory. If there's something you wish to borrow, you will need to become a member. To do this, you can self register online

Note: If you are having trouble with the website processing your tool library membership payment, please instead pay through the ‘Donate’ button at the bottom of our website and state what the payment is for.

We are pleased to announce we have returned to how the tool library was before Covid-19, so no need to make appointments through Appointlet anymore! We still ask though that you reserve item(s) using MyTurn, so that we can process reservations coming in and out, but drop-ins are also welcome.

Our current opening times are Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays 10am-12pm and Thursdays 4-6pm.

Over the festive period, we will be closed from 25th December - 7th January. Any items due back between these dates will be renewed. Normal opening hours resume from Monday 8th January 2024.

Reserving your Items

Reserve your item(s) for the day you would like until the following week. Please do not reserve items for the day they are due back. This is for everyone’s safety, so that the items can be checked over and PAT tested for electrical safety before being borrowed again.

To learn how to make a reservation, see the following video:
